Supporting the Mission at Alina Lodge
Alina Lodge is operated by Little Hill Foundation, a not-for-profit organization. Simply stated, this means we rely on the generosity of donors to meet our budget every year. We are proud to offer one of the lowest daily rates in the country. We could not do this without the kindness of friends, families, alumni, and foundations that support us with contributions and grants.
Alina Lodge saves lives. We like to do that with as little financial cost to the family as possible. In 2010, a year in which more families ran out of funds before the student was deemed ready for discharge, 2,795 days of scholarship were given so that they could complete treatment. It was more than we have ever been able to give out before, and we hope to be able to continue doing that throughout 2011.

Ways To Make Your Gift
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit cards. You may donate with one of these cards via the Donate Now button or by mail. We also accept check, money order or cash. You may pledge a donation over a specific time period (example: $1,000 pledge = $100 a month for 10 months). To make a pledge, a pledge form needs to be submitted. Securities
Gifts of appreciated securities may provide you with significant tax savings and you will receive a charitable tax deduction on your income taxes. You probably will not pay capital gains tax when securities are sold by the charity.
Insurance Policy
In lieu of cash, some people prefer to turn over an unneeded policy to their charity, or they purchase a new one for charitable purposes.
Matching Gifts
You can double or even triple your gift if your company has a matching gift program. Check with your human resources professionals for specifics.
Memorial / Tribute Gifts
Consider memorializing a loved one or celebrating someone's birthday, retirement, anniversary, or sobriety by sending a gift to Alina Lodge. The Lodge will advise the person or family of the tribute and the donor but not the amount of the gift.
Income-Producing Gifts
More people than ever are exploring ways to make contributions that also produce income for themselves for the rest of their lives. Several of these options allow them to leave larger estates to their heirs because of related tax benefits. Most of these are "trusts" and require planning with an attorney and/or financial advisor as well as the charity itself. In many cases, trusts offer the greatest benefit to the entire family.
Gifts By Bequest
We have been honored over the years to receive ultimate gifts from alumni and friends of the Lodge that are passed to us through their estates—through the will or some charitable trust. Please consider including The Little Hill Foundation in your will. General bequest language follows:
"I give, devise, and bequeath to The Little Hill Foundation/ Blairstown, New Jersey, the sum of $_____________ for the benefit of Alina Lodge and its general purposes."
As a 501(c)3, we operate solely as a non-profit organization and your contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Alina Lodge promises to never share your email, nor sell it to any other entity. It is for the sole purpose of emailing Lodge information, event flyers, newsletters, etc.
